My name is Jason ‘Trick’ Trickey and my photo journey started 20 years ago at a small boarding school in Warwick, Queensland. School was where I discovered my love of photography but I never took it further than landscapes on family camping trips and photos of the kids growing up. In 2016, on a full day photography tour in Hawaii, I rediscovered the passion I had for capturing the moment exactly as you experience it. 

 

Since then, weeknights are spent researching new places, planning new adventures and learning as much as I can about the art of photography. Weekends are spent with the camera around my neck exploring for that next photo. 

 

In 2016 I purchased my first full frame camera (Canon 5D Mark III), I started clicking and haven’t stopped to take a breath since. It started as a hobby, living and working in the stunning Northern Territory - I had the photo opportunity of a lifetime. With the support of my family and friends, I decided to share these images in the hope to inspire the beauty of Australia with people who haven’t been able to experience it in this way.
